Nathan Rennie

The Australian pro-mountainbiker Nathan Rennie made a stop at the Winterberg bike park on his tour through Europe. The now 27 year-old former UCI Elite World Cup Champion and Junior World Champion and his buddies of the KENDA MOREWOOD Team had a good rock and tumble on our trails and came to the clear conclusion:
A highly versatile park with ideal terrain to train upon between the World-Cups!

Anthony West

Another Australian, the motorcycle racing-pro and multiple world champion Anthony West, was absolutely thrilled with his experiences in Winterberg: “The park is cool and has so many different features on which I can train. Downhill is a great sport and really helps my technique on a motorcycle.” In 2009 Anthony will be representing the Swedish Honda private team in the Supersport world series.

Richie Schley

Slopestyle legend and Crankworx co-organiser from Whistler Mountain, Canada

On the Dirt Masters Freeride Festival 2008:
„The experiences we had here were on par with our Crankworx Festival back home!” The Canadian Festival is renowned as the worldwide biggest adventure playground for bikers.

Concerning the Bikepark Winterberg after a visit in 2007: “This rocks: A mini-Whistler in Europe!”

Hans „No Way“ Rey

No other name is affiliated as closely with extreme mountain biking. Hans is one of the most famous bikers in the world. He’s ridden the wildest things imaginable: The Pyramids in Egypt, the jungle in Borneo, the Copper Canyon in Mexico and the Dunn River Waterfall in Jamaica are just a few examples from his long list of conquests. In 2006 he visited the Bikepark Winterberg.
On the Bikepark Winterberg:
„Brilliant! All the lines are well designed and engineered and are great rides. One of the best parks I’ve ever seen.” Managing a synthesis of technical detail, fun and challenging elements, yet making sure that beginners are still welcome is definitely one of the strong points of the park, says “No-Way-Rey”.

Tyler Klassen, Darren Berrecloth, Matt Hunter und Steve Romaniuk

The four Canadian Freeride stars stopped off at the Bikepark Winterberg on their Eurotour 2004. After putting the park through its paces they all agreed: “We love it!” The North Shore especially sparked enthusiasm:”The best we’ve seen so far in Germany.” We were quite psyched about the compliment, seeing that the North Shore style of riding is a very Canadian thing. The group had only planned to stay for a short morning session, but ended up cancelling their obligations in order to ride some more!
