For bikers who do not yet have their own bike or protective equipment, or who want to try out new products, our rental shop in Winterberg in Sauerland is the right place to go. At the Bikestation you can rent first-class brand bikes. From kids freeriders to premium downhillers, there is a suitable bike for beginners as well as for advanced bikers to have fun.

In addition to our rental bikes we also offer high quality protective gear from iXS, so you are well equipped for your day at Bikepark Winterberg .

ATTENTION: On all bike routes Fullface- helmet obligation, except on the Beginner & Kids Parcours at the bike station!!!
On the black routes, a full body protection must also be worn!

In addition, there is of course also our repair service at the Bikestation, which, in addition to the bicycle repair of our rental fleet, is also happy to help you with concerns about your own bike.

IMPORTANT: Youths under 18 years of age can only borrow material upon presentation of this power of attorney of the legal guardian !!!

The power of attorney must be filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. A copy of the identity card (front and back) of the legal guardian is mandatory, as well as a telephone number for any queries. We only recognize this power of attorney, as it shows that the parent or guardian is responsible for any damage to the rental equipment and will replace any stolen equipment.

Rental rules

Everything you have rented on the day in question must be returned by 17:45 at the latest. Rental bikes must be pre-cleaned at the washing station at the entrance to the 6-seater chairlift by 5:15 pm! Dirty rental bikes will only be taken back under reserve and you will have to pay a cleaning fee of 5,00 €!

Our rental bikes are checked regularly, in case of damage you have to report it before the first ride! For self-caused damage to the rental equipment, the renter is liable! Damages, like flat tire (10,00 - 15,00 €), eight in the rim (from 10,00 €), bent brake disc (from 45,00 €), bent derailleur hanger (from 20,00 €), bent chain guide (from 30,00 €) etc. have to be paid immediately after returning the rental bike in cash or by EC-card. During the rental period, the renter alone is responsible for reporting any defective or loose parts immediately, so that they can be repaired immediately by our workshop. In case of omission, the renter is liable!

When borrowing material you must present a valid identity card!

Conditions 2022

Bike insurance

- The bike insurance from Bikepark Winterberg is a voluntary offer that can be used for the rental bikes provided by us. The Bikepark Winterberg is the insurer and the customer is the policyholder.

- The bike must always be treated with care - regardless of whether it is insured or not. Accordingly, only damage that can be attributed to proper use is insured.

- The insurance fee is 10 euros per bike and per rental day.

- The insurance only covers property damage to the insured bike. The maximum sum insured is 250 euros for the entire rental period. Damage to protective equipment, the biker or other person(s) or the property of third parties cannot be claimed under the insurance. The policyholder remains liable for damages exceeding 250 euros in accordance with the rental conditions.

- Insurance can only be taken out directly at the time of booking. Subsequent insurance of a rented bike is no longer possible.

- The rental conditions in the bike rental still apply. These must also be observed.

Discounts

From a rental period of three consecutive days, there is a 10% discount on protective equipment and bikes at our Bikestation.

From 2 nights in our Hostel Erlebnisberg Kappe you get 10% discount on rental equipment in Bikepark.
